Warren G. Boggs, 80, departed this life on the evening of September 22, 2016, at his home. He was born on August 3, 1936, in Dry Run, a son of the late Alfred M. and Annie J. Doyle Boggs. Warren worked as a logger for Johnson Logging and also as a paver operator for Hammaker-East. He enjoyed fishing and feeding the animals, especially deer, on his property. He is survived by his dog, Lucky. In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his companion of thirty-nine years, Dolores I. Keefer, who passed away just twenty days ago, on September 2, 2016. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or funeral services. Interment will be private. Dolores I. Keefer, 81, died Friday, September 2, 2016 in Manor Care Health Services of Chambersburg. Born November 28, 1934 in Mercersburg, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Thelma Mae Perry Schnabel. She was employed at the former Cressler's Market and the former Stanley Company, both in Chambersburg. Dolores is survived by her companion of 39 years, Warren G. Boggs of Orrstown; three daughters, Linda K. (Mark) Greenawalt of Newburg, Tammy D. Mummert of Rouzerville, and Kimberly Eyler of Hagerstown, MD; three granddaughters, Shannon Thompson, Cassy Greenawalt-Lehman and Jessie Shields; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Owen Witmer; and her loving dog, Lucky. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters. Funeral services and burial will be private.
